Altan Confectionery was founded in 1865 by Karagözoğlu Emin Bin. Established at its current location in Eminönü, Altan Confectionery 1. It was run by Karagözoğlu Emin Bin until World War II. The origin of our family is Kastamonu Taşköprü. Although our family's nickname was "Karagözoğulları", they took the surname Altan together with the surname law. The name of the shop was changed to Altan Confectionery after this date. Brought to today by the second generation Hacı Mustafa Altan, third generation Hacı Abdullah Altan and fourth generation Halit Hakan Altan after our founder Karağözoğlu Emin Bin, Altan Confectionery continues to sweeten history with Arzu Altan Batılı, the fifth and first female generation. Turkish delight, which means relieving the throat, originated in the Ottoman lands in the 16th century. It has been produced for over a century. Offering a wide range of Turkish Delight, Akide, Halva, Dragee, Jelly and Confectionery, Altan Confectionery continues to use historical recipes and traditional preparation methods dating back to 1865.
